COVID 19 Update 11.6.2020

Matt Henderson November 06, 2020

November 6, 2020

Parents and Families:

Due to the number of staff quarantined, the lack of substitutes for these staff members and the general concern for the health and safety of our students and staff, the Crestline School District will remain on fully remote status through Friday November 13, 2020. Students who attend Pioneer CTC, LEAP, and Tomorrow Center will follow the schedule of those school buildings and will have access to district transportation.

On Monday, November 9, and Wednesday, November 11, the Crestline schools will provide meals to students. We will be handing out meals at the building and delivering meals via bus beginning at 11:00 AM on those dates.

Students who receive Occupational, Physical, or Speech therapies will be contacted by their service provider to arrange for these services to take place in the school building during the week of November 9 - 13, 2020. All safety protocols will be in place to protect students and staff.

Additionally, during the current remote learning period, we have received word of an additional positive case of COVID-19 in the high school student population. The Health Department will be conducting contact tracing.

If conditions among our staff and students do not improve or worsen, we MAY make the decision to remain fully remote for the remainder of the semester. This topic will be discussed at the upcoming Board of Education meeting.
