11th-grade ELA students stepped into a thrilling literary escape room, where they had to crack codes and solve puzzles using their knowledge of The Great Gatsby, which they began studying in the third quarter. Through a series of challenges, students analyzed literary devices, symbolism, characterization, and the author’s purpose to unlock clues and 'escape' before time ran out. The activity fostered critical thinking, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of the text, all while making learning an engaging adventure!
