A New Chapter for Bulldog Media

There is a lot to be excited about as the 2026-27 school year gets underway in the Crestline Media Lab.

Mr. Niemiec is Crestline EVSD's new Digital Media Teacher, Yearbook Advisor, and Director of the Bulldog Media Lab. He brings 15 years of video production experience with him, including work that has received multiple state tourism awards. His goal is to take that real-world experience and use it to give students opportunities to learn by creating work for an actual audience.

This year's Yearbook/Newspaper staff is beginning to build a broader Bulldog Media presence at Crestline. Our plans include continued yearbook production, student-written news and feature stories, interviews, photography, video projects, and the development of Bulldog News.

Some projects are already beginning, while others will grow throughout the school year as students build their skills and the program takes shape. CEVSD is most excited about the opportunity to give students experience creating meaningful work that reaches beyond the classroom while helping tell the stories of the people, events, and moments that make up Crestline.

This is a new chapter for the Bulldog Media Lab, and we are just getting started.

Keep an eye out for what these students create next.
