GuardCare 2025 event is this weekend. There will beabout 160 Ohio National Guard medical team members from the Army & Air Force providing services Saturday & Sunday. This is open to all Ohioans and there is no cost involved with any of the services. For our local students, this is a great opportunity to get their immunizations and sports physicals. They will have all the immunizations needed for kindergarten, 7th & 12th grade students. They also have copies of the forms for the OHSAA sports physicals, pre-K physicals, and the Special Olympics sports physicals. Other services include blood labs at no cost, dental exams (fillings & extractions too, if needed), eye exams & prescriptions, mammograms, blood lead level screenings, EKGs, and more. Plus the resource fair includes a group of opticians that will clean & repair eyeglasses if people want to bring in their glasses. (They will repair & replace screws and nosepads and clean the lenses).

Bulldog Families -
This is the last week for our Summer Feeding Program. What a blessing for the District to provide children in the Community with a lunch for each day of the week. We hope this program continues to grow each year. Staff will be at 5 locations today, tomorrow, and Thursday from 11am-11:30am to distribute lunches.

As we gear up for the new school year, here are the official start and release times for Crestline Schools:

🏫 Crestline High School (Grades 9-12)
🕖 Start: 7:15 AM | 🚪 Release: 2:20 PM

🏫 Crestline Middle School (Grades 5-8)
🕖 Start: 7:15 AM | 🚪 Release: 2:20 PM

🏫 Crestline Elementary School (Grades K-4)
🕗 Start: 8:05 AM | 🚪 Release: 3:00 PM

📌 Important Reminders:

School doors open 15 minutes prior to start time for HS/MS and 20 minutes prior for Elementary.

Students are considered TARDY if arriving after their start time!

PreK times will be sent in a letter from the school.

Former Crestline High Principal and educator, John Tesso spoke on behalf of CHS at Tom Wolff’s Celebration of Life, held at Ontario High School on July 19, 2025. Mr. Wolf was principal of CHS from 1990-1993 and then served as District Superintendent from 1993-1997. Mr. Wolff made a positive impact on not only the school culture at CHS, but the staff, students, and community. Mr. Wolff passed away on June 14, 2025.

Bulldogs Do Not take breaks during the summertime!! We are always looking ahead to next season. Some of the Girl’s JV and Varsity Basketball players traveled to Bluffton College to compete in a shootout that included 31 other schools with Coach Spears, Coach Albright , and Coach Lusk. #BulldogPride

Important Legislative Update: Threats to Local School Funding Dear Bulldog Nation Community: We want to make you aware of two proposed state bills—House Bill 335 and House Bill 96—that could significantly reduce local funding for Crestline Exempted Village Schools and negatively impact the education and services we provide to our students. While these bills are still in development, they include serious proposals that would eliminate reliable funding sources, limit local financial control, and place our schools at financial risk. These changes could affect staffing, transportation, special education services, and the long-term stability of our district. We invite you to read the attached letter, which explains these bills in more detail and outlines how you can help advocate for our schools. Bulldog Nation Come out and join us as we send Carter Giesige to the OHSAA State Track Meet in Columbus today at 12pm. If you can't come to the HS, stand along the route he will take through town and cheer him on. Carter will leave the HS and travel south on Coyer Rd. He will turn west onto Oldfield Rd, then turn south onto Park Rd. He will then turn east on to Main St and head through the Village on his way to Rt. 30. Come out and Cheer Carter on as he represents Crestline. Go Dogs!! #BulldogPride
