Guidance Counselor
While I am not originally from Crestline, I have planted firm roots within the community through my husband's wonderful family; Therefore, I am wholly dedicated to the improvement of this community through the local school district.

I am an educator with over 11 years of experience working with children in school settings spanning all grade levels. I received my Associate's and Bachelor's degrees from The Ohio State University and my Master's in Education from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. I am currently working on a Master's in School Counseling from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

My primary focus for Crestline High School students is to provide academic, career, and personal-social counseling and advocacy to support student learning and success.

Every Student Matters

At Crestline Schools we are dedicated to each child under our care. Our Guidance Department’s aim is to send every graduating student into the world prepared for college or a career. As a small school we have the opportunity to invest in one-on-one relationships with every student Pre-K to 12 and help set each student up for success into adulthood.

The Guidance Department at Crestline Schools offers digital resources for:

  • Career and/or College Prep

  • Local Scholarships

  • High School Career

ACT
The ACT is one of most widely used college entrance exams. The ACT is available to take in your junior year of high school, leaving time to retake it as a senior if you wish for the opportunity to improve your score. Students may register for the ACT online or through a packet acquired at the Guidance Office. For those students wishing to practice for the test, ACT offers an online prep class or practice test booklets are available in the Guidance Office.

SAT
The SAT is another widely used college entrance exam. Some colleges require the SAT and some do not. Check with your schools for testing requirements. Some out-of-state schools only accept SAT test results.

AIR
State achievement tests tell us how well our students are growing in knowledge and skills outlined in Ohio’s Learning Standards. These tests help guide and strengthen future teaching so we can be sure that we are preparing our students for long-term success in school, college, careers and life. Test results also allow citizens to know how their local schools are performing compared to others around the state.
