Mid Ohio Spelling Bee Results

January 14, 2021

Crestline students fought hard in the virtual Crawford and Morrow County Spelling Bee today.

David Wymer was eliminated in round 1 with the word "midday." Jaelyn Tesso was out in the second round with the word "fronds." Madison Carroll went out in the third round with the word "laborious." Zoey Lawhorn did not participate today as the alternate, since all other participants showed up. She chose to use this opportunity to watch and learn for future spelling bee seasons.

Danielle Clark was eliminated in the fourth round with the word "harassment," but she was in the top 14, which qualified her for the upcoming Tri-County Spelling Bee on February 18th.

Although David Wymer did not qualify for the Tri-County Spelling Bee, he will still have the opportunity to qualify for regionals through the online test offered by Scripps National Spelling Bee since he was the Crestline School Champion.

Congratulations to our outstanding scholars!
